Important Notes: The following information is provided by a Unifi support guy. If your situation is same as per mine, then the solution might be suitable for you too.
I have experienced the Unifi down time 2 times, in 2 different months.
First time, it happened some where in April or May this year; second time, just a week ago.
During the first time, no one is on-site after I made the 1300 call, but somehow the Unifi service is back to live on next day. To me, it just like magic ~
Second time, this time I called the 1300 again. And, they sent me that Unifi support guy. I told this guy, that this time everything is exactly the same as per first time:
- VOIP is red color, all other LED on that black device are in green color.
- For that white device, the Globe LED is in orange.
Then, he reveals the answer to me: If the symptom is same like above, next time just call the 1300 and ask the operator to check the V-LAN.
He also told me: this is not customer's issue; somehow it related to the network performance of the service, hohoho..
